I’ve photographed over 300 weddings around the world under my brand and have spent the last decade immersed in this incredible industry — I’m honored to be recently named one of the top photographers in the US by the wed.
My approach to weddings is rooted in intuition and connection. I don’t see my work as fitting into a “documentary” or “editorial” box. What we do is far more personal than a label. We’re translating your connection to one another & your families into images that hold meaning. My style is instinctive and present, less about the “fake it for the camera” mentality and more about preserving the moments you’ll never get back.
When I received my own wedding photos, everything clicked. I began to understand the deeper meaning behind what I do. This job is not just about documenting a beautiful day — it’s about preserving who you are in that exact moment in time. Some of the images from our wedding now hold memories of people who are no longer with us, and others capture the earliest pieces of the life my husband and I have built since. They are, quite literally, irreplaceable. That’s what I hope to create for every couple I photograph — images that feel like art, hold emotional weight, and carry your story forward long after the day has passed.
Our couples are not hiring us to photograph their wedding, they’re trusting us to interpret it. To move with intuition, to understand the emotion in the room, and to translate that into images that feel honest & timeless, but rooted in who they are right now.
full wedding day coverage
Sydney and a second photographer will provide you with coverage of up to 10 hours of time on the wedding day.
Our couples receive a personalized photo timeline that will be reviewed & approved by you and your partner. Sydney is available to help with portrait location options and collaborating on the overall vision of the day if desired. Location scouting is done during the wedding weekend.
Sydney will intentionally curate and refine each image, delivering to you a collection of 600-900 high-resolution photographs, a perfect mix of digital & film showcased in a digital gallery, which will be easily accessible and downloadable for an entire year.
Additional coverage may be added for our hourly rate of $1250.00 USD.

night before coverage
Sydney Marie & a second photographer will provide coverage up to 2 hours the night before the wedding day.
Night before coverage can be added on at any time in the process. Our team does not typically book 2 weddings a weekend, but on a occasion may happen. It is safe to always book sooner than later.
Sydney will intentionally curate and refine each image, adding a collection of 90-150 high-resolution photographs to the final gallery.
Additional coverage may be added for our hourly rate of $1250.00 USD.

I met Sydney and Nick when they were shooting a friend’s wedding in upstate New York. Writing this review as I gush over our photo album that Sydney just delivered. Sydney is EXCEPTIONAL. Every photo was so beautiful. She is a true artist and captured our day even more beautifully than I could have imagined. As her work may speak for itself, it’s also worth noting that her and Nick’s energy is calm and positive, with my entire family noting what a wonderful sweet couple they are. Moreover, the documentary approach was exactly as I’d hoped for. We skipped a first look, and I imagine we still posed for no more than 15-20 minutes throughout the entire day. Yes!
Manhattan/Brooklyn based sessions range from $1200-1600 USD depending on duration and location.
Sessions are usually one hour long. Our approach to sessions is very relaxed, effortless & easy. The goal is to capture this moment and time vs create an elaborate styled shoot.
Our spring & summer calendar is opening in January 2026!

We estimate around 60-90 images per hour of coverage.
We shoot both film and digital throughout the entire day. Our galleries range from 10-15% film images vs digital. EX: If your gallery is 800 digital images, there will be around 80 film images.

We shoot a mixture of digital and film throughout the day. We shoot with 4-5 high end film cameras and 2-3 high end digital cameras. ALL moments such as your first look, family portraits, ceremony, first dances, etc are always shot on digital primarily. We use film as a secondary medium throughout those moments. Film scans will be added to your final gallery within 2-3 weeks of the day itself. Digital images are set within our typical turnaround time 8-10 weeks.
Drone photography is encouraged & executed when we have the appropriate weather & logistics to do so.

Yes! Each of our quotes includes one other photographer on Sydney’s team. If your guest count exceeds 200, we commonly will add a third photographer and/or an assistant to your final invoice to accommodate the event size!
Please, know that Sydney is the primary photographer. Her team are always a second/third eyes. We always plan your photo timeline accordingly to accommodate our creative workflow.

All of our couples will have access to their very own wedding photography portal, including questionnaires, timeline calls, vision boards, etc. We like to be very involved in the timeline planning & truly get an understanding of what our couples envision for their wedding day. We have quite a few educational tools built into our client experience to help our couples understand the ins & outs of wedding photography and the roll it plays in their wedding day.

We do not work off a specific shots list or directly copy from photography inspiration. Our goal is to document the day how it unfolds and let your personality shine through the images.
In the past, we’ve seen extensive shots list or over curated mood board become overwhelming to the couple & us as photographers. We want the day to run smoothly and organically. We focus our energy on creating a great timeline to capture all of the photos our clients desire, while drawing inspiration from personal elements the couple has included in the wedding experience itself.
We do, however, request a family shots list / specific requested shots list from every couple.

Sydney’s team works with a variety of cameras throughout a wedding day with brands such as Leica, Hasselblad, Canon, Fuji - typically up to 10 cameras total.
Rest assured, each camera boasts a dual card slot, ensuring that your precious memories are safeguarded with a fail-safe backup.
Following the event, the images are transferred to not one, but two robust hard drives, while the original cards remain untouched throughout the editing process.

Film scans are added to your gallery within 2 weeks of the wedding date.
Digital images are sent within 6-8 weeks for the full gallery 2025 weddings.
Our team will send out a preview gallery within the first week of the wedding with about 50-70 images of the day as a special gift from us.

Yes, a $2750.00 deposit is due within 5 days of signing the contract. The specific date will always be listed on the contract!

We have had the pleasure of collaborating with numerous clients who value a stronger level of confidentiality of their personal occasions. To ensure utmost privacy, we can incorporate an exclusivity clause into your contract. This clause guarantees that we will not utilize your wedding photographs for promotional purposes. However, please note that an exclusivity clause like this entails an additional charge of 25% of your total package as a 'loss of income' fee.
